“Hannah Montana” actor Mitchel Musso arrested
Mitchel Musso, known for his role as Oliver Oken on the Disney Channel series “Hannah Montana,” was apprehended due to allegations of public intoxication and theft after a dispute on Saturday. The incident took place at a local hotel in Rockwall, Texas, and was reported by an individual.
According to a statement issued by the Rockwall Police Department, law enforcement was summoned to the hotel in response to the disturbance caused by the 32-year-old actor. Allegedly inebriated, Musso entered the hotel and reportedly took a bag of chips without making a payment. When confronted about the unpaid chips, he supposedly responded with verbal aggression and then departed without settling the bill.
Outside the hotel, Musso was identified by Rockwall police officers. He exhibited signs of intoxication, leading to his arrest on charges of public intoxication and theft under $100. Further investigation revealed that Musso had multiple unresolved traffic-related warrants.
Following his arrest, Musso was taken to the Rockwall County Detention Center, where he spent a night in custody. On Sunday afternoon, he was released after posting a $1,000 bond.
From 2006 to 2011, Musso was a cast member of “Hannah Montana,” acting alongside Miley Cyrus, Emily Osment, and Jason Earles. In 2016, he marked the show’s 10th anniversary by expressing his affection for his former colleagues in an online tribute. Musso’s message conveyed his gratitude and described his co-stars as his “family” who had consistently supported him.
