Ariana Grande files for divorce from Dalton Gomez

Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have decided to end their marriage. On Monday, Grande filed for divorce in Los Angeles, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason, according to a source familiar with the situation. Family law attorney Laura Wasser is representing Grande in the divorce proceedings, although it is still unclear who is representing Gomez.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2021, had an intimate wedding with fewer than 20 attendees. Grande’s representative described the ceremony as joyous and filled with love. Although Grande shared photos of the event on her Instagram page, the post has since been removed. In the pictures, Grande was seen wearing a Vera Wang wedding gown, while Gomez wore a Tom Ford suit.

Their 2021 wedding followed Grande’s engagement to comedian Pete Davidson by two years. Grande and Gomez, a real estate agent, made their relationship public when they collaborated on the 2020 song “Stuck with U,” with Gomez appearing in the music video. The engagement was announced that same year.

Rumors of their separation began circulating in July when Grande was seen without her wedding ring while attending Wimbledon. Grande’s last social media photo with Gomez was posted in November, and the couple generally kept their relationship out of the public eye.

Before the SAG-AFTRA strike in July, the Grammy-winning singer was busy filming the cinematic adaptation of “Wicked” in London, alongside Bailey, Cynthia Erivo, Jeff Goldblum, Michelle Yeoh, and Bowen Yang.
