Britney Spears smacked in the face in Las Vegas

On Wednesday, July 5, in Las Vegas, Britney Spears was involved in a physical altercation with the security team of NBA star Victor Wembanyama. While attempting to approach Victor for a photo, Britney tapped him on the back, but his security was overwhelmed by fans and he unintentionally turned around, pushing Britney and accidentally hitting her in the face, causing her glasses to fall off.

Following the incident, the head of security for the San Antonio Spurs player approached Britney and offered an apology. The two security teams engaged in a conversation, during which it was mentioned that Britney’s team had filed a police report.

During the altercation, Britney was accompanied by her husband, Sam Asghari, and a member of her own security team.

Prior to the incident in Las Vegas, Britney had recently reunited with her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, after a tumultuous period within their family. Since being placed under a conservatorship in 2008, which was officially terminated in November 2021, Britney has been working on repairing her relationships with both her sister and her mother, Lynne Spears, whom she had been estranged from for over three years.

On another note, Victor Wembanyama gained attention last month when he was selected as the number one player in the 2023 NBA Draft. The French basketball star is set to begin playing for the San Antonio Spurs in the upcoming 2023/2024 season.
